Hi, I’m Beth — the face behind Wildlings & Aster, and the person you’ll be working with from our very first conversation through to your wedding day itself.
Flowers have always been part of my life. Growing up I was drawn to colour, texture and form, and fascinated by the way flowers can evoke emotion and tell a story. What began as hours spent sketching florals as a teenager gradually evolved into a creative career. After studying art and exploring different paths, I realised floral design was where my creativity felt most at home.
It’s why I work the way I do now — taking on a small number of weddings each year, and designing every one around the couple and the day itself, rather than working from a fixed template. I take inspiration from the changing seasons, and from you: your story, your venue, even the feeling you want your day to hold.
I love working with locally grown British flowers wherever possible, sourcing beautiful blooms from independent growers and artisan flower farmers. Every design reflects the character of the people it’s for, and the atmosphere of the day itself — considered, romantic, abundant, seasonal, and entirely personal.
My family and I recently achieved our dream and relocated to St Teath in Cornwall, and I’m delighted to be taking bookings from couples planning weddings across Cornwall and the wider South West. I’m bringing the same thoughtful approach and attention to detail I developed over years of designing weddings in Staffordshire — now shaped by the wild, coastal beauty of Cornwall.
When I’m not designing flowers, my world centres around my husband and our three boys (the Wildlings!). As a family, we love exploring new places, spending time outdoors, and making the most of life’s simple pleasures alongside our black Labrador, Sully. Whether it’s a coastal walk, a weekend adventure, or a quiet evening with a good sci-fi film and a glass of fizz, I genuinely adore life’s simple joys.
