Wedding Flower Budgets
Regardless, of if you have a modest budget of 1k or an extravagant budget of 5k+ for your wedding flowers.
It is not uncommon for couples to have their initial consultation for their wedding flowers and either do not know what their budget is or they want to keep their figure close to their chest!
The reason that your Florist is asking what your budget is, is not so that they can charge for every penny of that budget. But in fact, it is to ensure that they can give guidance on the arrangements on your wishlist and to ensure that your wishlist will be achievable within your budget. If your budget & floral wishlist don’t match up, we can let you know this from the start, which we find helps to manage couples expectations…. It also builds the foundations of a brilliant Florist-Couple relationship, that is open, honest & trusted from the start!
Now, if we’re being honest, a larger budget, makes the possibility of large scale installations, numerous arrangements & more abundant designs, far more attainable and offers more flexibility to think & go big!
But, smaller budgets don’t necessarily mean small florals… within reason! If your budget is more modest, but you want to have impact. Your Florist may be able to suggest arrangements that can be repurposed during your wedding day to maximise their use & your budget. You could also consider having one large “wow-factor” arrangement, over lots of little arrangements, as this can be so much more impactful, but still budget friendly!
Being open & honest with your Florist about your budget from the start (regardless of the value of that budget), will allow your Florist to deliver the best wedding florals possible for your wedding day!
